Below you will find a number of frequently asked questions which we have compiled based on questions from our past and present clients. From design to testing, we have tried to include as much information as possible.
If your question is not listed below please don't hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Yes, we can take your design and import it into a schematic CAD package.
We can also help with the circuit board layout, optimising your design to suit your market and budget. We can design single or multilayer PCB's for surface mount or leaded (conventional) components – the choice is yours.
we can manufacture a PCB from just the Gerber files, however we would obviously require a detailed BOM (Bill Of Materials) to populate it with components.
We can source both the PCB and components required, but we can also manufacture with free issue PCB's and components should you wish.
We have technical expertise in-house that can work with you in highlighting any design or manufacturing issues, ensuring the end product is delivered on spec and on time.
We pride ourselves in working closely with our customers ensuring all their requirements are met.
As well as designing, component sourcing and manufacture we can also test, fault find and EMC test your designs.
Should you wish, we can provide a full turnkey product ready for market, including printed instruction manuals & full packaging.
Yes, we can help get an existing project back on track.
Should it require a full product re-design, or simple re-work and repair, we can help.
Once your design has started, changes can be made by contacting our team as early as possible.
This will ensure that the changes are implemented and, if need be, re-quoted or re-scheduled.
We use high performance moving probe testers which test the pcbs against a net-list created from the gerber data.
Open circuits are identified by a continuity check between all net-ends on a single net. Short circuits are identified by a sophisticated algorithm which is based on the unique property of shorted nets of having an identical capacitance.
We have an extensive network which we have built over the years since NEO first opened. We are able to offer offshore manufacture to keep unit costs to an absolute minimum all the while maintaining our strict in-house quality standards.
Smaller scale manufacture can be performed at our UK site based in Oldham, near Manchester.
Please contact us via phone or email to discuss your requirements.
We will be able to let you know straight away if we can fulfil your concept or not.
We have no restrictions on your order size. However, we would like to have your target price to help us find a good solution for your specific needs in cost reduction.
We respect customer's copyright and will never manufacture PCBs for someone else with your files unless we receive written permission from you.
We can manufacture small runs of building of your prototypes from building 10's per month up to 1000's per month.
As well as PCB layout and design, we also offer full in-house embedded firmware design covering a range of embedded micro-controllers.
We have in-house Engineering expertise that is focused on supporting the customers with various tasks, including conventional to surface mount conversion, circuit board re-layout or modification, sourcing or resolving hard to get obselete components.
Beyond our in-house electronic services, working closely with third party Engineering partners, we can coordinate and offer other services such as metalwork fabrication, keypad & membrane switch panels, custom labelling and custom enclosure designs.
We have a large array of equipment in-house including multimeters, oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers. We could also build a test kit for your requirements if necessary.
Yes we can both repair and test to your specification.
Yes, we can supply a complete box service to meet your specifications.
Yes we are RoHS compliant.
